F1b Miniature Goldendoodles are 1 Week Old, Today!

Greetings from the doodle pups! We are living in style in our whelping den (see 2nd & 3rd picture). When we are approximately three or four weeks old, mom will then have joining plastic pools for play and potty areas, attached to an open crate with a dog bed for a sleeping area, so we learn to not potty where we sleep.

For now, we enjoy our cozy, warm and secure den. 

There are layers, underneath the box, yet secured with the box itself, of reusable cloth pee pads and a heavy duty shower curtain at the very bottom.

 While we sometimes do sleep in a puppy pile for security or if it is cold outside,

being able to sleep separately shows that we are adequately warm.

 

 Watching us fight for our place to feed can be quite humorous. Luckily, Sandy feeds us in stages, and we all have round bellies!

 Sandy is licking one of us so we will do potty duty!

 Sleeping and eating is all we do right now, besides scooting around! By next week, our eyes will be open and toddling starts! Speaking of sleeping and toddlers, Mom is ready for bed. We hope you enjoyed our pictures!
