F1 Miniature Male Doodle will be 3 weeks old on Wednesday, February 26th!

Greetings from Peter Pan (the nickname given to the male puppy by our daughter!),

What  a wonderful couple of weeks! I opened my eyes last Wednesday with a calm and inquisitive expression. I have been enjoying eating and sleeping and eating some more. I just started exploring my whelping box in the last couple of days and sniffing a few small toys. My mom put a dog bed in my box, secured underneath some blankets so I have to crawl over it, similar to what I would do with another puppy. I also have met Mirabella, the little girl of the household and she loves to hold and jostle me just a little, to help me socialize. She can't wait til I'm a little more mobile. Enjoy the photos!

 

F1 Miniature Male Golden Doodle Puppy, Born February 5, 2014

Greetings! Lucy, our beautiful golden retriever gave birth to a singleton male puppy for a 2nd time with artificial insemination so we are going to do a natural breeding next time. She only had one puppy in her womb at full term. She gave birth to a healthy and gorgeous wavy, red male with white tipping underneath his legs. His coat may lighten and become apricot as he grows up and he will be approximately 35-45 lbs full grown. His brother from the previous litter had a great temperament and is a wonderful family dog. This puppy will have similar socialization and Lucy herself will help by playing with him.

since all the dogs were bathed and groomed last Tuesday!

We are having a fabulous time, exploring the world, indoors and outside. All three of us are very friendly, social and love people.

 

 

Because of the weather and the small steps, we have been mostly hanging out on the outside porch.

However, today we were bounding around in the backyard, enjoying all the scents and being playful pups with each other. It's great to be a puppy!

Momma Sandy is teaching Domo some manners which is why her role is so important in our lives, up to eight or nine weeks.

And finally, we have been going potty and poop outside, most of the time. We are getting better at it, every day. We started using our crates on Saturday, that were provided by our owners, and things are going smoothly, after a couple days.

Greetings from the puppies! We are enjoying life. We follow the big dogs in going potty outside. We love to chew on rawhide and dog toys. We love cuddle times with humans that live in  our house and that visit. It is wonderful to be a puppy!
