Greetings! Guests are visiting from Minnesota so we are going to be brief. Of course they are delighted that we are in the house since little puppies are so fun to watch!
We opened our eyes this week which is great for us and not so great for Momma Lucy. If we see her, we give small cries and scoot quickly to see if we can get close for a snack. While we are very well fed and nurtured, we still get very excited when we smell or see our Momma. She is very patient with us and is always sniffing and checking to see if she needs to help stimulate us to go potty, which is her natural job for a few more weeks. Mirabella, the daughter of the house gave us fun names such as "Lyra" or "Kate" for the girls and "Manny, Spot, Tools, and Mim Mim" for the boys. Lyra is her favorite name at the moment and the other names came from her television shows. Our eyes have just opened although they are still developing so they will look kinda bluish or cloudy which is normal at this age. Also, our new fleece blanket sheds some grey fuzz so you may see some of that in the photos as an fyi.
Enjoy the photos and the sunshine again this weekend! Love, the Puppies.
Darkest male of the litter. The opening of the eyes is gradual. In this photo, they are slits.
This puppy is a female, we think....
Female, above and the one on the top, below. The females have some lighter markings, especially underneath. The females are slightly lighter in their color, than the males. They will be apricot or dark golden.
One of the males has a white spot on his head, another male has a white patch on this chest and another male has white "socks" and a patch on this chest. All the males tend to be slightly darker in their coloring and the females are lighter.
The females are the three puppies on the left to the middle and their brother is on the right.
And the adventure continues!
