Happy mom of 6 doodles!

2 and 1/2 weeks is when the puppies have just opened their eyes and begin to explore. They can recognize mom and familiar humans. At week three is when they toddle/walk around, develop coordination, and squat to go to the bathroom on their own.

The smallest puppy of the litter. She is also very fat and healthy!

5 day old pups

They cannot open their eyes and just sleep, crawl to find their mom and eat.

She licks them in the tummy area to stimulate them so they can go potty and poop.

Mothering comes naturally to most dogs and they know exactly what to do from the time the pups are born.
