We will be one week old on Tuesday!

Greetings from the puppies! We have had a great introduction to the world so far with lots of cuddles, sleeping and lots of yummy from Sandy. There is not a lot to do or see, until our eyes open at 2 weeks. Enjoy the photos!

We weren't very happy that Trina took the blankets off the top of the den, to take a few photos.

So we are all trying to climb on top of each other.

 

Trina just changed our blankets, but Sandy's paws sometimes bring in a little dirt.

Greetings from Sandy! My mom put us all in the car so that my pups could get their dewclaws removed at the vet. Momma Trina took me with her to get coffee to distract me, while the simple procedure was occurring. The puppies had just been fed before we went, so they slept the entire time.  I will be posting puppy pics later!

Newborn F1b Miniature Puppies, Born This Morning between 8:15 and 10:45 Am!

 

Greetings from the puppies! Today was our first day into the world. We can't see or hear yet.

We scoot around and smell to find Momma Sandy. We make little cries and noises which is a good sign of health.

 

Sandy licked us a lot when we were first born to help dry our coats. She continues to lick us to help us go poo and potty.

Mirabella, the toddler who lives at our house wants to give us a blanket, bone or something, but Trina

explained that all the puppies want or need right now, besides warmth underneath them, is lots of yummy and cuddles from Sandy. Trina's job is to check on us frequently and make sure our Momma is stroked and fed.

This is a photo that is farther away, just so you can see how tiny we are. :)

This photo also displays our whelping den which is covered with blankets and has an opening in the front. We are cozy and warm.

F1b Miniature Puppies, Born Today!

 

 

Puppies are in process as we speak. There are four puppies and counting....and we believe there to be three girls and one boy so far. The wavy apricot girl was first and the wavy apricot boy was second.

Sandy is panting in the picture above with a face wet with water.

We want to make sure she is well hydrated during this process.

After the puppies are born, they love to migrate to Sandy's backside (photo below).

And another puppy is on its way.......
